 In this tutorial I’ll show you how to create a realistic stamp.

step1:

 create a new document with400X250 pixels

use Type tool and make your favorite stamp text

 goto layers panel and select your text layer and Rasterize this layer by right click and choose "Rasterize Type":

 step2:

 create a new layer and choose Rectangular Marquee Tool and make a selection then fill it with the red (or any) color:

then follow this path :  Select -> Modify -> Contract and type 5 pixels and click ok 

press DELETE key 

you have a border around your text

 goto layers panel and select your text layer , hold shift key and click on border layer to select together , then right click and choose merge layers:

 step3 :

 goto this path and apply filter :  Filter -> Sketch -> Torn Edges

apply these setting :

 click ok and you have an effect like this :

  step4 :

select Erazer Tool with a diameter 9 pixels  and opacity 60% and make an random and arbitrary cuts.

 now press Ctrl+T and turn it to the right or to the left.
