By this tutorial you learn how to create Rounded Corner Shapes in photoshop

let start

step1:

open  a new document with 350X200 pixel dimension (or any size you like)

create a new layer and select a rectangle  selection using Rectangular Marquee Tool

 Step2:

 go to Channels panel and create a new layer there (you can find this panel in Window -> Channels)

Step3 :

now fill out selected area with white color

 step4:

 choose this filter :  Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur  and set the parameters like this :

you must enter a digit for Radius bigger than 5 , then click ok.

Step5:

 now goto this path :  Image -> Adjustments -> Levels ...

and set the parameters to 125 and 135 : 

 this parameters makes edges of shapes softer, click ok.

Step6:

 return to the channels panel select the layer and then press and hold Ctrl key and click on the layer this make a selection in our layer:

Step7:

 return to the Layers panel and select your blank layer .

you see a selected area with  rounded corners

 now you can fill this area and now you have a Rounded Corner Shape!

 you can use this steps to mak many different shapes :
